I won't use AI at work or for writing. I believe it would rot my brain. Yes, I do randomly yell at Siri to add items to my grocery list or tell me the day's weather. That's about all it's good for.

This is why housing advocacy is driven largely by people who just want to be able to ride their bikes & get places on the bus. Once you start looking for ways to make transportation better, you realize that it's land use holding us back. And then you start spending all your free time at city hall.

To carry 50,000 people per hour in each direction, a city needs a 175m wide road for cars. Even if those cars are electric. And then there’s all the parking. OR a city can move A LOT MORE people in a lot less space, with A LOT LESS public money, emissions, pollution, noise etc. Choices. Simple.

Yesterday, a woman at yoga asked me if I was wearing a mask because I was sick. I was in pain and had had a crappy day at work, & my response was not kind. I asked her if she was sick and that was why she was not wearing a mask. She moved away from me, saying she had respiratory issues.

Chilliwack needs to slow down. There are too many large pick up trucks & SUVs intimidating pedestrians, cyclists, people using mobility devices, & other drivers.

There’s so much aggressive driving in Chilliwack. Decisions made years ago reverberate today with drivers of large pickup trucks & SUVs intimidating pedestrians, cyclists & other drivers. Vehicles run lights & stop signs, jockey for position, exceed speed limits & generally behave badly.
