Went out yesterday for the first bit of vacation in I don’t know how long. Got to hang with Josh and some lovely friends and it’s the sort of thing that charges your soul. Was gonna stream for a bit this morning but I’m definitely more tuckered out than expected. Relaxation day for me!

Subathon came to a close yesterday and my body is finally feeling it! Was a great time but now I need to focus on moving for the next couple days. Painting and cleaning today, loading U-Haul tomorrow, and moving everything and cats on Saturday. Will be off stream until Sunday! 🤞

Got a decent bit of the bathroom stuff done yesterday, but it’s never as much as you hoped for. Therefore, I’m actually going to take this civic holiday off so I can get a couple more things done. It’ll also be nice to spend time with Kimmy. So, back to stream tomorrow! 😅

I’m sitting on a bench with my eyes lost in the lake right now. My soul needed this.

Sadly, another day away from stream. Dropping the car off to have the fuel filler pipe replaced which is a four to five hour ordeal. I’ll be back tomorrow with a bit of a stream at least!

Stream will start a bit later today, hopefully around 10am EST. Just waiting at the physiotherapist right now to figure out what’s going on with my knee.

I used to think a big chunky house centipede was the scariest thing ever until I saw two younger ones in quick succession. They're breeding. IN. THE. HOUSE.

Just a reminder that we’re not streaming today. I’ve got some car maintenance and repairs that’ll take a while and probably $1,000 and that’s not fun but I guess I don’t want my steering wheel to fly out the window while I’m driving so it’s worth it.

I kinda miss non-automatic doors. Now it’s so much harder to tell who’s chivalrous when out and about.

I did it. I finally cut the lawn in such a way that the last strip was exactly the width of the mower — no more, no less.

Today started out great but then the headache took over and I didn't eat and took painkillers for it after streaming nearly 10 hours and now I'm an emotional wreck.

No streaming today! Kimmy is away so I’m on solo cat duty and I’m tired enough that I made a cup of coffee without putting a cup in place so coffee when all over the counter. 🫠

Change of plans for the day — old man is coming over in a bit and we’re gonna remove the very botched drywall, sister the studs, replace drywall, and then hopefully get the rest of the shower built. That means no streaming today but should be a huge bathroom milestone.

Just fired the bathroom reno contractor. Part own turtle shelled hard when he saw everything. Tried to blame me and some of his workers for trying to get a shower in place in about a week. It's been two weeks and still not in place. What a turd. Gotta make some calls and then stream will start.

Stream start will be a bit delayed today. Need to deal with this contractor once and for all.

Won’t be streaming today as I’m gonna be installing the rest of the shower kit the contractors have failed to do over a two week period. Yes, I’m beyond frustrated. Professionalism and craftsmanship seem to be on the verge of extinction.

Not gonna be able to stream during the day today either with the bathroom working being done. Car also hit me with the check engine light last night so that's another fun thing to deal with. Might try to do a night stream after contractor leaves for the day, though!

Three full grown men demoing the bathroom and all I hear from my office is “yeah, yeah don’t throw that out — that’s a snack for later!” Wondering what they found in the P trap or the sink. 😂

Just a reminder that there’s no stream today! We’ve got some demolition work being done on the bathroom so we can bring it into this millennium. Might be back tomorrow if things are less noisy.

Replacing the PSU fixed the issue. Just doing some computer updates and all the technical checks, then we should be live by 11:30am EST to do the fun breakfast scramble cooking stream!

Was getting prepared for the cooking stream tomorrow and the kitchen/crafting computer won't power up. Turns on for a split second and then immediately shuts off. Re-seated RAM, replace CMOS battery, checked cable connections. Seems to be the PSU, which means I have to replace in the morning.

Tis a family weekend, so I shall be offline. Activities will include seeing family, talking to family, eating with family, gardening (without family), and cuddling with cats (they are family, I don't care what you say).

Just realized that I have an actual bucket list item! I want to continue to develop the yard into a native garden that is one day selected to be part of a garden tour. That would be neat!

Just cleaned up a bunch of the former compost area and transplanted some irises there along with sowing of some wildflower seeds. Gonna look very nice in a month or so!
