Working to put money back into the pockets of families in the Mon Valley is always a top priority for me. That’s why the new Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit included in the PA Budget is such an important win.

Great news for our community! @senpisciottano.com and I have secured $205,000 for local projects in our communities. These grants including upgrades to the Dravosburg Ballfields, renovations for St. Vincent de Paul and new training equipment at the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics.

While I was on my way home from Harrisburg, my staff joined @senpisciottano.com and the Mission: Agape Food Bank at the Glassport #1 Firehall to distribute meals to 120 families throughout our area.

The new PA Budget is breaking down barriers and strengthening our teaching workforce by cutting red tape for returning educators, reducing fees, and expanding support for those entering the classroom from a second career.

Supporting our schools is always going to be one of my main priorities. Our kids deserve every opportunity to thrive. That’s why I've been fighting for these increases in year’s state budget for funding our local schools.

I had a great time touring the Plumbers Local Union #27 training facility! The Mon Valley was built on the dedication of hardworking union members like those in Local 27, which has been serving our community for 136 years.

The season kicked off in the best way with a tour of the Pittsburgh Zoo! We had the chance to learn about the incredible animals that call it home and hear about their exciting 20-year master plan for the future.

It was an honor to help secure a grant for our Allegheny County Police Mounted Unit. Supporting our law enforcement is essential, this grant helps support the purchase of large animal rescue equipment.

Today we remember the lives lost 24 years ago in a senseless terrorist attack. From civilians to first responders, the loss remains immeasurable.

I had the opportunity to tour VisAbility during their rebranding launch. This nonprofit is doing incredible work to ensure accessible and affordable training and tools for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. It was inspiring to see the dedication and teamwork behind their mission.

The weather was too beautiful to stay inside today, so I headed out to Whitehall to talk with some constituents! While of course enjoying a refreshing cup of homemade lemonade from some of our young entrepreneurs. Truly a sweet treat, both the lemonade and the conversations. 1/2

National Night Out at Baldwin Tower’s was a great success! Did you know this nationwide event started right here in Pennsylvania back in 1984? Now it's celebrated in over 400 communities across 23 states. (1/2)

We have been alerted about some chances that are happening here at Century Square Shopping Center! The parking lot will be repaved, and sidewalks will be replaced, this will start effecting our offices parking and sidewalks this week.

We have heard about the water break on Bettis Road and will be keeping an eye on the situation.

My team was happy to represent me at the ribbon cutting in Glassport for the new satellite campus for Per Scholas of Pittsburgh. Per Scholas is a nonprofit organization that is offering free computer training, to anyone over the age of 18. (1/3)

We work for you in my office. We understood how devastating it was for so much of our districts seniors when they found out the senior farmers market voucher program distribution center at the Whitehall library was no longer going to operate this year. We heard your concerns(1/3)

As many of you who frequent our office have notice the lock on our door has been out of sorts. We have good news after a look at the lock today from a great local locksmith he should be able to fix our door. We’ll be closing early this Friday at noon for the repair. Sorry for the inconvenience!
