Ignoring the 9 pages of closing scene from the other day, today added another 20 pages to the tally, 325 and 58,020 (59,425 all told.) Moving in towards the grand denouement. Our "hero" has finally discovered that Archie Andrews is not a viable male role model, especially when it comes to dating.

Well, only a page done on the next scene, but then I jumped ahead and wrote a 9 page scene that closes the book. So we have a little tread on the tires yet, but the ending is definitely in sight.

Another reason to watch your back, indie and self pub authors.

15 pages, 54,350 words. Our neutral arbiter has just dropped the knowledge and given our heroine a little sage advice to chew on and mull over for a bit...

12 more pages, 51,600. Sometimes when you get exactly what you convince yourself you wanted? It's not what you really wanted, at all.

11 more pages, 277 and 49,400. He's officially two timing, now. And while our heroine is trying to keep things casual and chill...that sure as hell isn't what she's feeling inside, is it?

Just about done with this one. Yes, it's incredibly stupid and a little too affectionate towards Hallmark movies, but just subversive enough to be funny. A mindless but fun read, especially for the gothically inclined.
