Photo from an MLK Jr Day event last month. Having my own government actively working to strip MLK Day and Black History Month away is disheartening to say the least. Growing up in elementary school the only time I got a chance to learn about the contributions of people who looked like me was BHM.

This season of America is giving Silo vibes. Trying to erase history, limit access to education, and provide a higher standard of living to those up top while folks in the down deep who keep the whole show running are vilified. I think I want to go outside to clean.
