A walk in the Pool Hall Fishery area for 2nd Sat morn running was less eventful but 4-5 singing Chiffchaff & Treecreeper (finally!) added to the 10k year. A Little Egret strolling across a field should have been rarer. Always a good day when Yellowhammers & Skylarks singing #UKbirding #staffsbirds

Timely update that the wryneck at Ilmington Downs, Warwickshire was showing again this morning. Quick dash across and bumped into my friends Nick @oldcaley.bsky.social and Anne Truby. Bird showed well from 10.15 to circa 11.30 when I left @westmidsbirding.bsky.social @btobirds.bsky.social.
