A number of constituents have contacted my office to raise their concerns about the increasing number of text message scams, also known as 'smishing'. I wrote to the Minister to ask what the Govt is doing to ensure that penalties reflect the scale, organisation and harm of these crimes.

Today, many farmers came down to Westminster to plead to the Chancellor for her support. In return, the Government doubled down on their plans to hit them with a family farm tax. Liberal Democrats will keep fighting for British farmers.
