One of my goals for Monsters of Mican was to write and voice an actual song with words for the shuttle escape sequence, but I could never figure out how to write a song with lyrics. Melodic background music is easy by comparison. My voice has pretty good range so I think it would've worked nicely.

Silksong was developed the way it was because the developer didn't have to worry about money. The only way you get more games developed like Silksong is if Universal Basic Income becomes a thing.
