On a personal note. I was at a music venue the other night, and some guy grabbed my ass. Ugh. He walked by me with a big smile, then immediately grabbed me as he passed. Me, 5'4" me, called him out immediately. Loudly, over the band's sound. "Hey! You grabbed my ass! Don't EVER touch me again!"

Just an average girl who spent the afternoon in San Francisco, NOT in a touristy spot. It's not failing, or dirty, or dangerous. *Like all cities, there are some blocks with issues. What I found was a thriving and friendly community, safety walking around, families, students walking with friends.

Just ran to DollarTree in LA. It was like a ghost town. In fact, the strip mall was eerily empty, much like the rest of the area where I am. I asked the clerk and she said that it's been like that for a few days. She said they're afraid of being picked up. We shared the sadness of it all.
