A few years ago, we revealed our drone sim was used in NASA’s analog Mars training. Now, we’re building Liftoff: Offworld, a full-featured sim for space-inspired drone missions. Below is an in-engine shot of our Dragonfly-inspired mission on Titan, known for its vast methane lakes.

Last night was the 4th LGG Meetup in Hasselt, and wow, what a night! With 70 gamedevs showing up, it was our biggest and best one yet. Free drinks, good vibes, games, and plenty of lost voices this morning. Huge thanks to everyone who joined in, you're the heart of this amazing community!

I started playing Morrowind 22 years ago. It's one of my all-time favourite games... Today, I finished the Main Quest for the first time. 😅

Milestone reached! Trough Liftoff: XR Drone, another 40,000 virtual drone pilots have joined our Liftoff community. What began as a "quick experiment" has rapidly transformed into the highest rated drone experience on the Meta Quest platform, with a dedicated development roadmap.

Each year we celebrate our best Liftoff pilots. Tournament winners get awarded a Champion Badge. Our final Liftoff Pro League 2024 Champion Badges are being sent out, and a new 2025 badge is in production! #fridayshowcase

#ShowcaseFriday Our Liftoff community has created and shared more than 5000 racetracks on the Steam Workshop. Here's the track we commissioned from a legendary track designer "DerHonk" for the final of a year-long tournament. The world best Liftoff pilots will battle it out on this intense track.

For today's #ShowcaseFriday, I’m happy to reveal the newest addition to Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing! Meet the Racewhoop, a cool drone designed by a Belgian pilot and meticulously recreated in our simulator. We aimed for release last week but hit some bugs, shooting for next week now! Wish us luck :)

Lovingly created by two small Belgian teams, it would be great if you could spread the word about this wonderful adventure!

Exactly a year ago, we secured an amazing office for LuGus Studios in the center of Hasselt. Now, we're expanding by acquiring another 170m² in our building, that we hope to transform into a creative space for game startups, solo devs, and even students. I’ll share more as plans take shape.
