I found a great chair for the studio yesterday in a local antique/junk shop. It’s super comfy, in great shape, and made from solid hardwood and steel. Apparently it’s from a set that came out of the local courthouse. Should work well with the new drafting table. Score!

20 years ago I was working on my first #TTRPG maps for #DnD. Serendipitously, they were set in world of #Greyhawk. Bit of a rush since I was in charge of Dungeon mag’s interior art & design when we ran out of available cartographers. I picked up the project out of necessity and fell in love!

Fun Fact: My first official #DnD #RPGmaps were drawn for the Dungeon magazine adventure ‘Throne of Iuz’ in issue 118. It was published back in January of ‘05 but I think I wrapped the art up in November of ‘04 while I was still working as an associate AD at @paizo.bsky.social Fun times!

Work-in-progress number two. Preliminary figure sketches added today. Making some headway with the foreground characters. Lots of color work to go. Many of the inks will be lightened in value while having varying hues applied to the line work for a better sense of atmosphere.
