With a family member’s help, I was able to get two codes! I can now get both Koraidon and Miraidon, neither of which I’ve caught in my games yet. I’m hoping to get them in beast balls, but I have to get more from the item printer. Releasing these codes on a MTG and Pokémon TCG day is wild!

So cool! Paper Trail is a wonderful game. The sorts of puzzles I love, wrapped around a story. I was able to try it out on stream with a gifted Steam key, and once I heard it was coming to Switch, I was hoping for a physical to add to my collection! Definitely going to get a copy from Lost in Cult.

Just now, I randomly caught an Antique Form Sinistea! I accidentally ran into one in the Canyon Biome, threw a Quick Ball and my game said the Pokédex updated. I checked its stats and sure enough, Antique! I have been searching since Sword and Shield. It has eluded me for almost six years! 🥹

I have Pokémon cards sitting here, waiting to be opened. The desire to open them beckons me. Yet, the rain continues to siphon my glee. Just imagine a tiny violin playing along. 😆 If I can get my setup straightened in the next hour or two, then maybe a game? I have no idea what to play.

This week, I had a PT evaluation for my left shoulder and they asked me what my goal was. It's very simple: to be able to wear my backpack again. I was able to put my rollator away for some appointments, and then I had two separate injuries within a month. I also have a new mobility aid.

Today, I preordered a bunch of amiibo, a PS5 controller and bought an external drive. I'm most excited about the external drive, actually. I hope it will assist with my creative workflow. I have some ideas, so let's see if I can execute my vision without using all of my energy, haha.

Wahoo! Love the cross saves. Cross saves have been great for me playing the original Hades between my Steam Deck and Switch. Maybe, I'll start playing my Steam copy and finish on Switch 2 when the physical copy comes out!

What a great question. Bluesky Is more than an X clone. Under the hood, each part of the app can and is ran by different companies. The app you download, the server hosting your data, each feed you scroll, and your chosen moderator can all be ran by unrelated parties.

Trying to reschedule medical appointments is frustrating. I have an appointment in two weeks, and the next opening is at the end of November. Last month, I had to reschedule an appointment and the next opening was in December. I can miss two days of work or I can reschedule. 🫠

I picked up a new mobility aid today and it's really stressing me out. It's really going to help me, but I'm feeling sad about how it's working for me. I just have to get used to it. Also, an issue I thought might come up with it wound up being true. 😞 Nothing is wrong with the object, of course.

Dealing with a medical crisis due to insurance being a big bully and refusing to make a deal. So, I guess I'm going to pour through some documents tomorrow and call my physicians and specialists to see if they are covered by a different insurance provider. I have to change during open enrollment.

Just by chance, I found a creator and was able to complete my set of pins from the rally! Going to check on some Mew cards for a friend and then see if I can get into the Arena. 🥳

A Pokémon staff member came up to me, said they liked my outfit (I’m wearing clothes featuring maybe six different Pokémon) and gave me a promo card! 🥹

I went to a pupuseria. They made them fresh for me and they’re wider than my hand! No wonder the takeout cartons were so heavy, haha. Never seen pupusas so large in my life. They are delicious, so I guess I have breakfast and maybe two other meals now. 😆 Also, the boba is mid by Disneyland.

I need to get the Murkow pin to complete the Pokémon Worlds pin rally and it’s so hard to find it! I found two creators today that were out of pins. I hope there’s someone who still has them, but I just happened to find people by chance.

Pokémon Worlds Day 1 is here! I hope my warm shower this morning was helpful because I woke up so dead, haha. Everything hurts! Today is going to be a good day though.

Some of the merchandise was very tempting, but I wound up not getting the varsity jacket or the Reyn Spooner items. I did buy a Toedscool shirt though!

After I left the Pokémon Center last night, I noticed that they changed this Amazon locker outside the convention center to advertise a TCG set! I walked by this locker hours before and it was grey. So, within the hours I was waiting inside to make purchases, this wrap was added. Pretty cool!

I didn’t get chosen for any of the workshops or autograph sessions I signed up for at Worlds. I guess I’ll have more free time to watch matches than I thought. Oh well, there’s still lots to do. 🥲

So, I got in the Pokémon Center and they told me to wait by Charmander, so I’m sitting here. There are so many people in here! That’s the line of people WAITING to buy things. They’re not actually in the store. 👀 Also, they’re about 30 minutes behind on entry reservations because of checkout.

Well, I made it to Los Angeles! It’s been a long day already, and I still can’t check into my hotel yet. I’ve been up since 4AM Eastern, but I did get a little sleep on the plane. It’s happening today! Pop Mart unboxing. Sometime…this evening! I’m so excited. I have boxes that have waited far too long for me to open.

I had to reschedule an appointment that's next week. I waited three months for this appointment, and the next appointment is in December. I also waited an hour on the phone to reschedule it. Maybe I should go back to my old provider because even getting a medication refill was stressful here. 🫠

I still want to do an unboxing day, but I had some appointments and was very tired after staying up all night from Mod Day. So, maybe towards the end of the week. 😆

Mod Day was fun yesterday! I got stuck in the Ruins for 2.5 hours. IN THE RUINS, of all places! I ran out of things to do, so I did a tour of the place I decided to live in. 😆 Either the randomizer had all of my keys locked behind parts of the games my team hadn't reached, or they missed checks.

I feel like I can't do anything right. I'm really beat down. I have all of this health stuff impacting my movements. I'm exhausted and in pain. I'm also feel like the fact that I sit in a rollator and wear a mask is a problem because I'm not heard clearly, apparently? I'm immunocompromised.

Just because someone is having a bad day, or just came out of surgery, doesn’t mean they get a pass to be rude. I have FND and sometimes, I can’t speak clearly. I’m having a very difficult time walking today. Does this mean I’m rude to people? Absolutely not. Customer service is exhausting.

I want to do a Pop Mart unboxing. Maybe Monday? I don’t know. I have to figure out how to set this up! I have a few things to unbox and some cool things I purchased recently that I opened already. (Most of it is from The Monsters, but not all of it. Like 98% is, haha.)
