My IPS mod for the #MegaDuck Super Junior Computer finally got a frame to hold the GBP Q5 display. It also locks against the adapter PCB and creates a good tight fit ^^ Now I need to find a nice way to access the OSD without the capacitive-pads (inconvenient)

This huge "romhack" definitely deserved a physical copy 😁 Took a Conkers BfD Repro, added an UltraCIC-III 6103 so it runs on PAL as well as NTSC. Can't wait to have time to play it ❤️

We just got a #MegaDuck printer! It's in very good condition and working just fine 👌 Therefore we can now properly trace the printer protocol, reverse it and make printing accessible for everyone 😁 Even though we then still need to figure out how to enter the 4-color mode 🤔 @zwenergy.bsky.social

Latest Board analysis uncovered, the #MegaDuck Laptop has a Display interface on the back. Hooked up a TangNano4k to it and got HDMI output 👌 Modless HDMI for MegaDuck Laptop incoming, I guess 😁

Today my 4Mbit flashes arrived. I immediately tested them and what should I say? Success! The first ever to exist #MegaDuck FlashCart supporting SRAM saves 👌 This is now a standalone DataBank Module with embedded memory. Neat 😁

#MegaDuck SJC #IPS board rev2: Realigned the FFC-Connector and added a JST-Connector for Battery Feed. The IDC was 1<->2 swapped. Fixed 👌 Pretty much the final version. OSD Controller next 😅

#MegaDuck Flash+FRAM Cart Work log: Part 1: FRAM Check 👌 At first the flash cart caused the system to crash completely... I therefore analyzed the memory module port to find out I missed one trace... CS for FRAM is generated via A14 and CS... I only found the A14 connection first 😅

The Voice-Chip of my #MegaDuck Laptop has a broken trace under the Blob... therefore i needed to come up with a replacement. RP2040 FTW! This uses "pico-pwm-audio" by @robingrosset with a few changes to cycle through the 6 files. Now only the CMD-IF is left 👍

Designed my own version of #PicoNES Wanted a PicoNES as close as possible to the NES ^^ Supports #BlueRetro incl. Controller detection as well as (probably) remote Power-ON (still to be tested). Final Version will also replace the µSD Module and with µSD-Slot.

Today was pre-christmas 😍 I got a lot of toys (and duties 😅) from Consoles4You . I believe I SpyderMS (codename for ViperMS programmer🤪) my old gbaHD-US will get a new shell as well 😍 finally: no longer missing the "D" 😉

Thanks to my recent haul from Aliexpress, I was able to secure a replacement Spartan board. After programming the latest firmware on it, I installed it into my GBAHD and IT LIVES!!
