Lots of Louis Vuitton on this train, but only one MARTA shirt. Bonjour, y’all. 💙🧡💛

My favorite Spanish word is PUEBLEAR—wandering through small towns and soaking in their charm. As a former Main Street manager, I’m grateful for a lovely Sunday of puebleando in Alabama!

More Marta has to pay for “more” not just for regular “Marta” services The new MARTA report is an attempt to rewrite history and rewind mistakes that have been made. I agree with

and stand by the original City audit

Local journalism is essential for accountability. Grateful for AJC and Sara Gregory coverage of MARTA’s challenges—reading it now while commuting on MARTA.

Higher ridership = more revenue 💰 The newly revised budget proposal shows an increase of $20M for FY26 & a projected increase of $29M in FY27 from our Dec proposal.

Atlanta is doable if your office is near a station and you're intentional about where you live. And don't have dependents. And can deal with the *reactions* you'll get if you tell people you voluntarily take MARTA.

Remember the MARTA employee hit by a train in October? The watchman tasked with alerting maintenance workers to oncoming trains was focused on other work, according to the NTSB's preliminary report. The injured employee needed a below-the-knee amputation:
