That’s a wrap! 233 trick-or-treaters at House of Hurt Halloween. I’d prepared 350 candy bags and was panicked at the thought of being left alone with all those sweets 😄fortunately I connected with folks at Heritage food pantry who took the extras for distribution.

That time we were witches at church… Beulah the Bug Witch with her car-sized pointy hat and serious lashes made the trunk-or-treat scene. Love my VW 💚

Spooky tree has been slo-mo waving his menacing branches at the corner of our house for more Halloweens than we can recall. Every year when we pack him back into storage we figure he won’t revive next time October rolls around. But he does. Nice job, spooky tree. 5 days 🎃

Last year we gave out 330 candy bags to trick-or-treaters. This year we’re hoping to break that record. Let’s go!
