This is what Gavin Newsom and the consultant class endorses when they try to play footsie with people opposed to trans people's very existence. There is no polite, liberal way to push people out of public life--you ultimately need the state to inspect people's bodies and enforce compliance.

So amid the purge of gov't websites promoting "gender ideology," someone at the EEOC seems to be pushing back. And the thing is, this guidance is pursuant to what the Supreme Court decided in Bostock -- that discrimination based on gender identity is sex discrimination and therefore illegal. 2/
