You--yes, you, personally--should play Scarlet Hollow. A narrative horror game with story deeply rooted in a mix of folklore, personal psychology, and struggles with family/society, branching to a degree that is frankly boggling. Content warnings are available on the studio's website.

I'm looking forward to replaying Scarlet Hollow and Episode 5, but I'm very concerned about my ability to voice it. Not even the skill issue (wow, I did not differentiate character voices as much as I thought I did in NitW), but just being able to talk audibly without pain post-stream.

Found a plaintext print&mail order form for Apogee games among some game files while setting up DOSbox remaps. Feels weird. Not exactly nostalgia. All of these games are still purchasable, unlike the order forms in the backs of books I read in the 90s.

We're still on for DOSember! I'm still debating between trying to do a "sampler" of games vs. picking one or two to focus on through December, but here's what I've gotten working so far.

Been a rough couple of weeks and I'm still not feeling great. I'm going to drop my regular schedule for the rest of November, returning to regular streams for #DOSember. I'll post here for any impromptu streams in the meantime.

I knew I hadn't Completed™ Hollow Knight by a long shot, but I'm surprised by how many new achievements I've gotten on this playthrough. I actually thought one of these was a glitch in the achievement system until I opened my old save and found that I don't have a certain item.
