I promise I have been crafting, but both of my current 🧶 projects are bigger (read: slower). A quick @eatsleepknit.bsky.social CAL was just what I needed! Pattern is the Square One Project Bag by Toni Lipsey, and yarn in Emma's Simply Spectacular DK.

I neglected my roses last year and they went absolutely feral. It took several days, but 11 full yard waste bags later and they are looking much better!

We marked another house project off the list! Our door used to be pale green... 24 years ago. It had faded a lot and was looking pretty grimy. Since we got shiny new door locks, I figured it was time for a fresh coat of paint as well.

I always end up with a couple of milkweed that pop up in the middle of the yard instead of the beds who get mowed down. This little guy survived having a giant stick pile dumped on top of it. It's earned a chance to grow big. Hopefully the tomato cage keeps it safe from our lawn company.

I am TIRED, but we got a thing done! My old beds are 11 years old, and this one was rotting more extensively than I realized. Decided to get a composite bed with a built in fence to (hopefully) keep the mutts out, but still allow me to get in and weed, which I couldn't do with the old fencing.
