Some of these antisemitic posters have X accounts where they’re promoting literal Nazis, they just adapt their content slightly for Bluesky, and their progressive / leftist audiences here love it, because Bluesky is also garbage.

Here’s an email I got from Scott Horton when I contacted him last month to confirm that he runs this account. There’s something very wrong with this guy, and yet I see him posting misinformation and ripping off actual journalists in my feed every day, because Bluesky runs on this shit.

It’s so fucked up that emergency services still use X. I just checked the 47 X accounts listed on the official RCMP social media page, and 10 have no gray check. It’s like an open invitation to impersonators.

Working on a project looking at government accounts on X, and the only recent published estimate I can find for number of gray checks is not credible (96k, way too high). Anyone else tracking these?
