A very special happy 2nd birthday to our miracle baby, Kaiju 🥹 He was our 50gram preemie kitten born to a mom who passed of pyometra. On antibiotics at 3 days old, pretty much came out the womb with herpes symptoms... our vet told us at 1wk that he likely wouldn't make it. 😅 WELL! He made it!

Snickers has been having some issues with his peen as he grows, which we knew was likely to happen due to his surgery having been done so young 😅 not that we had a choice! He's doing much better now, all healed again, but I will def miss his fruity little soft cones 🤣

On top of The Everything going on, one of our cats, Meenah, is having some health issues. The vet isnt sure exactly why, but she is losing weight and having inflamitory flares. 😔 the anti inflamitories reduced her immune response, so of course now she has picked up a cold too. 😭

We've reached the part where canadian family members and friends are sending me messages saying that if Xylo and I (and the cats) need to come back north, they will make space for us. We have a life here, but i wont lie, its crossed my mind a lot in the last year.
