The productive moment continues! Today, I'm working on a little somethin' somethin' for April Fool's Day. 1/3 sections down. The easiest one, 'cause it's a parody of something that already exists, but starting with an easy win is a good way to boost morale and keep motivation flowing.

Wrote about 1000 words on the big project today. Between this and the glut of chores and tasks today and yesterday, I am quite pooped. Gonna be hard to wake up early in the morning to take Conor to his specialist vet appointment in the big city. Def resting the rest of the day once we get home.

FYI, Academia.edu has changed its terms of service to give an irrevocable worldwide license for anything uploaded to its site to be used for generative AI. I do not consent to this and have pulled all my papers.

PaizoCon's cancelled, but the online region is putting together a fan-run alternative. I'm gonna see about running the new one-shot I'd planned to debut at PaizoCon there instead.

The ADHD task initiation and focus troubles have been non-existent the past three days after being awful for a couple weeks. Wrote about 500 words + research on one project on Wed, chores on Thu, then 2000 words on another today. Very happy and hope the reprieve keeps up. #writing #littleThings

Today was a good day. Cold is winding down. Plumbing's fixed, so I can wash dishes again. Got some writing done, and some org play upkeep. Quality time with the cats, including rare solo playtime with Conor. Looking forward to more good things tomorrow.

Been sick the past few days. 🤧 It's been very, very nice to have boxes of powdered sipping broth in the pantry that just need hot water added. Highly recommend. 🍲

Got all my Gen Con class & game submissions done today. Repeat of last year's seminar and workshop, five basing classes (4 repeats, 1 new), and an RPG one-shot. I committed to finishing a new one in time for Origins, but submitted the existing one to GC since I haven't run it there yet.

My annual quiet, solo Solstice contemplation has been delayed this year. Gonna have to wait 'til after Christmas. 🫤 Hope I can get a couple days to focus inward and center myself.

Managed to have a pretty good week, in spite of some energy volatility. About ready to turn in one freelancing thing, halfway drafts for another, an OPF task, got some household chores done, some for-fun reading. Looking forward to sitting down tomorrow for a long dive into a bigger writing project.
