republican voter: trump is the true son of God. My 2028 ballot is already marked (R) Democratic voter: America is being destroyed by republicans. BUT, there's ALSO major problems w/ _____! They're ALSO problematic, honestly not much different than trump. I can't in good faith vote for _____ in 2028

If I follow you and you're taking this moment to use your massive intellect and life of profound experience in your area of expertise to dutifully bash the Democrats I'm choosing to unfollow you. It was two or three strikes and you're out. But for my own mental health the next 3 years, it's now one

No one likes to talk about this but what we're witnessing is the direct result of NOT using January 20th(technically Jan 6th) 2021 to November 4th 2024 to systematicallyhgold him accountable for the first term and create constitutional ammendments to keep PREVENTABLE crimes from happening again.

I'm not a "Democrat". I'm very lucky in life so I've always just voted to improve the lives of people less fortunate. So can a Democrat or liberal or whatever you call yourself explain to me how all of this is better than voting for a Democrat because they have policy positions you disagree with?

What I feared. Was the normalization. The steady acceptance. The slow defeating feeling creeping over us. Normalizing insane thing after insane thing. Watching how fast we normalized this is debilitating. Onto normalizing the next atrocity. We so badly wanted "to get back to normal". We did it...

As a matter of preserving my sanity, I'm choosing to unfollow account that feel compelled to use their voices to bash Democratic candidates for the next 2 years and 8 months. It's just as easy to post about WHO YOU WANT TO SEE SUCCEED as the EVENTUAL Democratic nominee.

All my life I've been interested in the shadowy things the American government does that no one ever knows about..... but years later are declassified. So if this is all the stuff they are doing out in the open, and to be honest, bragging about...... what is happening in the shadows?

Even before they jettisoned Biden, AOC said something prescient. To paraphrase. You have a very important cause you want to see fixed. With whoever the Democrat might be, you'll be able to fight to right that particular wrong. With trump as president, you'll instead be fighting to stop his wrongs.

Humans have always struggled. We're not built to be content, dare I say "happy". Unfortunately, we have sort of reached the stage where our know-how, wealth and technology could in theory solve all Americans problems. We COULD be content. Almost all of the chaos we're seeing now is manufactured.

As seen at the 2025 Velo-city Conference in Gdansk, the Big Bike Orchestra is a Polish pop-folk band formed in 2021 in Bydgoszcz. Their unique feature is the combination of playing musical instruments while simultaneously riding a specially constructed six-person bicycle.

I get that people are sick of Americans saying “well I didn’t vote for this” but I have genuine sympathy. Their government is torching goodwill and relations with pretty much all friends, allies, and neighbours. That has to put you as a regular citizen in a really strange position.
