We have run out of words to describe the depths of suffering we have witnessed after President Trump took a sledgehammer to U.S. humanitarian assistance and the entire global aid system. One year later we are seeing years of progress unravel, suffering and preventable deaths.

ICE should not be menacing our streets and endangering our neighbors. We stand with Minneapolis today and call on the Trump administration to stop attacking our communities.

Two years. On October 7, 2023, Hamas and other armed groups carried out devastating attacks in Israel. We still mourn those lost that day and the 48 hostages who remain in captivity. But Israel’s response has created one of the worst humanitarian crises of our time.

The U.S. has long led in disaster response, but with USAID gutted, its ability to aid crises like Myanmar is severely weakened. Lives depend on speed, resources & collaboration. The admin must act now—millions face disease, hunger & more. The U.S. must not abandon its legacy.
