Two years. On October 7, 2023, Hamas and other armed groups carried out devastating attacks in Israel. We still mourn those lost that day and the 48 hostages who remain in captivity. But Israel’s response has created one of the worst humanitarian crises of our time.

The richest 1% gained $33.9 trillion since 2015. That’s enough to end global poverty 22 times over. Meanwhile, aid is being slashed and 3.7B people remain in poverty. It’s time to tax the super-rich, reject failed finance models, and put public power at the center.

The U.S. has long led in disaster response, but with USAID gutted, its ability to aid crises like Myanmar is severely weakened. Lives depend on speed, resources & collaboration. The admin must act now—millions face disease, hunger & more. The U.S. must not abandon its legacy.

This ruling seems promising, but there is still so much uncertainty. For this system to work, people & partners must trust it. We must see the ruling translate into real impact and the immediate restoration of programs delivering food, water, medicine, & more.
