It's day one of the #yyccc budget review. We don't have a finance minister but I thought it was a good day to break out a new pair of shoes anyway - plain might they be.

Sitting in this seat for the first time today brought home the journey of the last four years and the enormity of the responsibility in front of me for the next four. Others have come before and others will come after, but tomorrow we start the next chapter for Ward 4, together.

While everyone is thanking voters and volunteers, I also need to thank my opponents. Jeremy Wong and Sheldon Yakichuk ran fantastic campaigns that kept me motivated. 🙏 I hope they continue working to make their communities better.
