There’s a special symmetry to this anniversary event with the original cast of YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES. The film is 40 years old and Bruce Broughton is 80 years young. The cast received a lovely video message from Bruce congratulating them and José (Quartet Records) sent 💿. The score is a true classic

28 Years Later is really something! A visceral experience that will leave a lasting impression. Opening with a thumping soundtrack with militaristic speech samples, leading to some very moving writing for strings. The raw emotion though, that’s what Boyle & Garland deliver for a solid 2 hours!

What a week! It was a joy to spend time at the first London Soundtrack Festival. Meeting David Cronenberg was one of many highlights, but above all the atmosphere at each event was something special.
