The local pigeons took flight to celebrate the finishing of album eight. It’s been mastered and now I am wondering how to release it. As always - part of me wants it out there right now - but I also want to explore working with labels and seeing if I can give it the wider reach it deserves.

On 12 October 2004 at 23.18 I started work on ATPLP008. 322 days later and I have finally finished it. I am chuffed and really happy with how it sounds. I have not even thought about when and how to release it but I definitely don’t wont to sit on it too long.

Album eight is nearly ready. Final few tracks to mix and then boom 💥

Album 8 edges ever closer to being finished. Mixing the 10 tracks in the album running order. Not sure yet when it will be released. More likely early next year than late this year. But who knows …

I don’t know why but every time I make a new album it gets harder and harder to finish it. Album 7 was quite hard work but album 8 is proving to be a real pain in the pigeon. Maybe it’s because I am more critical of my own music. Who knows? … I’ll keep cracking on and eventually get there!

Spent a bit more time on album 8 today. I think I’ve locked in the running order but a couple of songs need to breathe and evolve a bit more.

The first DRAFT of ATPLP8 is done. I’ll spend the next few months editing, mixing, rearranging and trying to make it as good as possible.

Been making some really good progress on ATPLP008 over the last few weeks. About 3/4 of the way there now. Already have the title, theme and cover for the album all wrapped up. Just need a few more tracks!

I went to the opticians today. Despite needing new glasses I was able to spot some pigeons chilling out in Worthing. Meanwhile at ATPHQ I’ve now completed seven new songs. Album 8 is progressing nicely.

Goodbye 2024. Not a massively busy year for me. A few gigs throughout the year and the release of my seventh album. I’ll be releasing a few new songs next year, probably not an album though and have a few shows planned. Hope you have a fantastic 2025.
