Very average run until Chapter 8, where I played well and got lucky. Much closer to 3:38 now 👀

Got a super sick beginning today, first 1:22 Chapter 3 exit and best pace for most of the run. Back half wasn't too great but still PBable, just not quite lucky or fast enough. Been cooking with some of these recent attempts, more to come soon.

New best pace out of Chapter 5 earlier today, and run tied with PB into the endgame yesterday. Still lots of room to improve, but feels good to shake off the rust

Safe route PB by nearly a minute. Pretty awesome to see this kind of time with this route. The whole run really wasn't anything special until a lucky and well executed Chapter 8 saved lots of time.

A couple weeks ago I was ~6:06-6:07 pace into Chapter 7 thanks to good Quizmo luck but forgot to turn the items in as Peach (literal irreversible mistake). I feel capable of a mid 6:0x, but this category is too long for me to want to keep committing to it now so I'll come back to it in the future.

I've been speedrunning Glitchless 101% lately, not quite grinding to the level of Glitchless Any% yet due to its length but finally got a decent run. This run could've been 6:0x but got some bad RNG on Jr. Troopa that made it too slow. Going to keep trying to bring this down to 6:0x before moving on

After 9 attempts to the endgame and 100 attempts total on this route, 3:39 has been achieved on N64!!!

Can't get much closer. Ending was lucky but not quite lucky enough to get 3:39 on this run. Honestly this run was fairly unlucky in a lot of places, but still glad I got to finish.

Another 3:39 pace in Chapter 8, this time not lucky enough at Jr. Troopa. Excellent weekend of attempts, was very fun getting to play the game and seeing what I can do. Still going to grind for at least 3:39, but attempt frequency will go back down to normal for now.

Got this omega roml last night but didn't get lucky enough to finish. Got another run to Chapter 8 today and made a lot of mistakes, but did get lucky enough to finish a small PB. Playing well lately and I'm not done yet.

Nothing like a warm welcome back to speedruns... 1/1000 odds lol. More 3:39 attempts tomorrow morning

Got a pretty insane beginning today. Never imagined sub-hour Chapter 2 exit would happen on N64 when I first started playing, or even a sub-1:13 Bow. Made many huge mistakes throughout the rest of the run but with a really good Chapter 8 was still 3:39:50 BPT into Jr. Been enjoying this grind a lot.

I got N64 world record in DK64 No Levels Early!! I started learning this category in January this year and it's been my only focus for speedrunning this entire year. Feels very surreal, I'm so happy with this
