It's been a whole year. Some of my friends are still looking for permanent work. I wish we didn't have to live in Trying Times (TM) all the time. But alas, we continue.

Me for like the past month:

People out here really sleeping on Melas Panoplia (Titan exotic that lets you recall your hammer) and I just don't get it. The biggest reason I didn't fully enjoy using the throwing hammer was the danger of picking it back up. This exotic solves that problem AND creates explosions.

The most sobering realization I've had in my career is that it's still possible to feel burnt out while doing a job you enjoy. Never quite found a solution for that one...

@benstarr.bsky.social 's portrayal of Clive in FFXVI is iconic of course, but I daresay his role in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is his defining role as a voice actor. Absolutely flawless performance with a beautiful script.

There are many reasons why I stand for trans rights, but I think number one on the list is seeing the before and after pictures of people becoming truly happy and comfortable with themselves. Now THAT is some dopamine!

MASSIVE good news for trans people in the United States. A federal judge has just granted class action status to transgender people looking to update their passports. This means that very shorty, the window will open to update your passports with the correct gender marker.

Working on Marathon was one of the proudest moments in my career. I was crushed to have to leave it last year, but I know the people still there are pouring everything they have into making it the best it can be. Always rooting for you all, and still honored to have helped in some way.

So I unlocked Torment IV in Diablo (hurray) and took it as a sign to finally start Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and uh... WOW. Please no spoilers, but this game is SIIIIICK!
