One thing I love about 1940-1960 clothing (and that was completely lost to fast fashion's obsession with $) is large hems on skirts. These allowed you to tailor your skirt length to your height. I'm a tall woman by 1950s standards, and as you can see on photo 2, this dress barely reaches my knees.

A beautiful night with Clair Obscur. The singers have such powerful voices, it was like going through the story again. Hubby is a huge fan and said it was the best concert of his life. I'm glad I insisted we go. Also, Expedition 42, the style expedition. (Because I'm sorry but I don't look 33 lol.)

I'm going to see Clair Obscur in concert this weekend, so I asked Hubby to print us some Expedition 42 armbands, to wear with a 1950s dress I own that looks somewhat like one in-game outfit, just for the fun. Still on-brand, but with a touch of Clair Obscur. 😁

I still have too much free time so I joined the IAAP (International Association of Accessibility Professionals) with the objective of getting certified. CPACC first, then once I get my UX diploma, WAS.

I haven't had time to check it out myself but it looks like Fallout 76 added a button to confirm purchase, and the ability to switch servers if your CAMP can't be placed. Really good UX improvements. Two valuable leasons: 1. There should always be a "confirm" step when spending money is involved.

Home from work exhausted and can't rest or play games because it's 30ºC INSIDE. Can't sleep at night either. And the next day comes and it's back to "did you try adding alt texts to your images?" while sleep-deprived. 🫪 I love my job. But I love it even more when no heat wave is involved. 🤣

Hubby on the phone with the EV charger company in the middle of nowhere, Scotland. Guy on the phone has a fat Sco'ish accent, hubby has a fat Frrrench accent. Hilarious and cute. Also the charger isn't working. 🙃
