My first go at a pigeon release. Just 10 mins and they’ll be back home. I like to tell myself they won’t take off unless I give them a verbal instruction. The jury’s still out on whether or not that’s true… Thanks @ghtrabin.bsky.social for showing me the ropes!

Always delighted to be invited to the @btobirds.bsky.social Marsh Awards reception at the Society of Wildlife Artists Natural Eye exhibition. Great to catch up with everything the BTO Youth Advisory Panel has been up to too, having been an alumnus of the panel for the last year.

Really enjoyed sharing some work from the first few months of my DPhil at last Friday’s departmental Behaviour & Biomechanics Symposium. Thanks to the organisers for putting together such an engaging & sociable day!
