Great tip! You can also call after hours on a weekday to leave a message for the same result. What we need is A LOT OF CALLS AND FEEDBACK. You don't need to be well spoken, you don't need to be "smart", you just need to tell them to oppose/appeal ID laws, censorship, etc.

i want to stress: i firmly believe that we, just us normal people, can push back against this global wave of censorship. we CAN do this. there may be temporary setbacks, lost battles, but i do firmly believe that with sustained action, we can make our futures better for art and human expression.

this is why i encourage people to call/mail their representatives on issues too. This is WHY a lot of them get really nervous when they get a bunch of phone calls yelling at them, not because theyr hearts and minds are being changed but because theyre seeing their cushy ass job at risk
