I changed my mind it's delayed because of Silksong

Hey all. Earlier this summer I stated that I would be resuming work on Clocked In. Since then, the amount of progress made has unfortunately been little to none. I did sit down and work on it, but ultimately, I barely got anything done.

Well, it's June 1st (5th actually), so as I've been saying, it's time to finally dedicate my time toi Clocked In again! I'm actually VERY able to do this now, so I'm about to give it my all and get this shit made! Here's some updates about the state of the game:

I'm about to playtest something I've made. Feels a little surreal, but mostly, it feels right.

Joining low-commitment random projects for resume/portfolio building reasons Do I think they'll get made? Good chance they won't. But if I get writing done and build some experience with working in a team, that's a win for me.

Expect a little tiny something by the end of the month.

So I'll say this. I have a really cool idea for a game, and I plan on dropping a demo for it before I return to work on Clocked In. This game, if it was to become a full game, would not be releasing until after Clocked In.

Don’t listen to the haters (my brain). Clocked In will release when I am ready to fully commit to it. Been cooking other stuff in the meantime. Very excited to show off what I’ve got going on when it’s ready.

Unfortunately, after a lot of thought, I am putting Clocked In on hold. I don't feel that I'm ready to continue pursuing the project at this time. In about 6 months (or less) I will be returning to work on it after I've worked hard on some of my other skills. Stuff is coming in the meantime...

I went to a very eye-opening presentation yesterday. As a (mostly) solo game dev, taking on my current project alone is quite the endeavor. So I've got to look into a few things. Gotta improve some skills. I also want to be able to pay people, so I need to get my money up. (1/2)

Using some free time I have today to do some script writing. Almost every character has at least one line of dialogue rn. Going to be every character by the end of the day.

Man I can't wait to have literally anything to show off for Clocked In. Might just start doing character sketches with my very limited artistic ability and post them so that people can see that I am doing things

Clocked In mini progress report: Haven't been able to do a ton. Have, however, cooked up some ideas. What I have been working on recently, however, is a complete list of the character relationships between every character. It's being handwritten in a notebook rn. I'm pretty damn proud of it.
