Sometimes it's amazing how a song takes on a life of its own while you're working on it. You might think the song needs a certain layer, then you try and add it in, but it just doesn't sit in the song. Being sensitive to these moments is one of my favorite parts of making music~

Power is back on at our place, after almost 3 days without it! Miraculously, thanks to not opening our fridge and our kitchen being generally cold to begin with, I think nothing spoiled in our fridge... will be careful of course but I had JUST gotten groceries the day we lost power so I'm happy!
