Going through the Nier Automata OST to try put names to the tracks. Weight of the World is undeniably a masterpiece in all its versions and having one that combines all of them was sick. I was really surprised when in my second ending it was in a language different from the first ending!

Nier Automata complete! It was well rounded in all areas and I had a lot of fun with it. The music would go into my top VG OSTs. I haven't consumed a whole lot of media about robots/AI so it was thought provoking, especially now in a time when they're kicking off.

Finally listened to the morello/beartooth song in context and I think it fucks as a standalone but as a raid song it's too repetitive. in their reaction to soken's music they note it has an unpredictable feel and I think that's needed to indicate different raid phases else it feels like a flat line
