A new report from the Gardens Trust highlights the vital role historic landscapes play in climate resilience, housing, and nature recovery. Our DG, @bencowell.bsky.social attended its launch last week, where our own research was referenced as well as a discussion on garden tourism.

Last week some of the team attended two of our regional AGMs, the Heart of England hosted at Badminton Estate and the South East at Penshurst Place. As ever, plenty of important conversations, and thanks to all involved for the warm hospitality.

Our regional learning & engagement meeting for the north-east took place at Ushaw in Durham this week. Attendees had the chance to discuss best practices, successes and challenges together, and a great time was had by all despite the rain!

Yesterday’s event at Packington Hall focused on coping with disasters - including floods, fires, storms or terrorism-related. Huge thanks to all our speakers, including sponsors Spencer & Fry and Purcell, who highlighted the importance of planning, communication, and insurance.
