Things you didn't know about rabbits... We saw blue rabbit pee in our backyard. Yes, blue! Apparently, a rabbit's pee will turn from yellow to blue after the rabbit has eaten buckthorn bark and twigs. There is a phytochemical in the buckthorn that turns the urine blue when sunlight hits it.
