Honestly, with Skybound Transformers I still think you would have to work around the shared mutliversal storyline (aka, all the GI Joe stuff they want to adapt), but each title in Absolute Book has been stand alone enough that they could work as a stand alone adaptation.

Honestly, there are two major reasons why most comic book runs (mostly ones from Marvel and DC) would not leand themselve to anime like adaptation. This is mostly on topic of Skybound TF comic show being announce, and the talk about wanting trigger to do Absolute Batman.
