Like I do get what they were going for here, the idea of a lingering time limit of completing all of the tasks is interesting. And the level itself IS fun and very charming outside of the issues with the time limit. But they could’ve handled it a bit better.

Resetting your progress due to a time limit in a game that is mostly slow-paced and focused on exploration wasn’t exactly the best decision imo. I think there should’ve been some kind of checkpoint system in place where you would only have to redo some of the level.

The idea behind Dark Bloo Inn is really cool but the fact that you have to do the entire level again if you don’t complete it within the time limit is a bit too harsh. Sure, the tasks are pretty easy once you know what to do but I feel like most players will be focused on exploring at first.

Personally I would rather have Wario in a third Mario Movie than to be filler in the 2nd one. Its interesting they still haven't re-released any Wario Land games with Captain Syrup in it but I could be overthinking any reason why they would. Wario really fits for a third movie more anyway.
