DemoGen is something I am quite proud of, I've made great use of it for the AgendaScope demo site. It makes it trivial to reset the demo site to a known good state whilst the dates/times all feel relatively current.

I'm updating my DemoGen Elixir library to handle relative dates/times as values. DemoGen lets you generate demo sites (e.g. for your SaaS app) by executing something akin to a movie script.

Fair play to HobbyCraft. We ordered 4 storage boxes that got delivered yesterday. One of the boxes was cracked (looking at you DPD). Their customer service agent apologised & shipped us a replacement that arrived this morning. That is good service.

The reason they come for comedians early is that a comic license is surprisingly easy to revoke. You just have to stop laughing. Comedy is about safety, spreading that feeling of safety, intimacy, shared values, group strength. They donāt want you to feel safe. They want you to feel scared.

The two best examples of what "real" AI is going to be like in fiction (that I can think of right now) are Marvin from the Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy and Tidy from James Follets Earth Search. I will give an honourable mention to HAL-9000 and T.A.R.S.
