Didn't that that was about missing Xhaka but missing a replacement, with Neil and Rigg seemingly not options in the middle, it was odd to see Geertruida not get a game. Sadiki ended up overrun in midfield and with some sloppy first half performers, it left us too much to do.

Shame we never made that more comfortable, had the chances but that's still a great 3 points. Fully deserved to win the game and we looked comfortable for the vast majority of the match. #SAFC

That looked one game too many for us, some really tired legs out there but considering that and the fact we were losing, that was horrific by Enzo. Once that happened we were completely done. Don't want to be too harsh on him as he's been quality but that really cost us.

Considering our effort against City, to get through that leggy first half and come away with a point and could maybe have got all three, that is a fantastic turnaround and performance from everyone. The team just don't know when they're beaten.

Happy enough with a point in the end, took us too long to switch things around after the break and for 20 minutes or so we were well off it. Recovered after the subs though and ending the year unbeaten at home in the PL and in the top 8, cannot complain at that!

Got a little too ragged in the last 20 minutes or so but still disappointed to only come away with one point. That game was there for the winning for long spells, not going to complain with a point at Brighton though, that was a good effort and we never looked depleted.

I don't think we deserved anything today, the five at the back wasn't working and we just ended up outnumbered in midfield. Made us too passive and would have liked to have seen us being more proactive with subs. Still 6th though, so not a disaster.

Not too unhappy with a point after that terrible first half hour where we were all over the shop but the improvement after that was very impressive. Could have won it with Mukiele's header but didn't really create that much otherwise and fourth after 10 games, can't complain!

Unbelievable all-round performance from the lads, defended great and always looked a threat on the break. Not getting carried away with us being second but we absolutely look like a proper Premier League side and not a newly promoted one.
