The PCSA is delighted to partner with Research Ireland and to fund the Living Independently & Free from Targeted Abuse (LIFT) project led by Dr Charles O’Mahony at the University of Galway. The project will explore the experiences of disabled people who have been targeted for abuse or exploitation.

The new Policing and Community Safety Authority (PCSA) was established today. Combining the functions of the Policing Authority and An Garda Síochána Inspectorate, the PCSA will also take on an additional Community Safety role in ensuring that people in Ireland are not only safe, but feel safe.
