Julie Bell did art in 1994 that appears to have been intended to advertise the Sega CD release of Samurai Shodown (reportedly for a large cardboard cutout display figure in stores). I think this is Haohmaru in an alternate costume, which aligns to the EUR box art and this in-game image

This 1989 NES ad for Taxan's Star Soldier is initialed at the bottom right. The initials seem familiar but I can't place them, and I keep losing then rediscovering this image. Maybe EM or WB? The triangles on either end seem district. Hopefully someone will recognize the initials from other art!

Paul E. Stinson frequently swiped Boris, so I was sure that was the case for the back box art for Marauder (Atari 2600, 1982). Was finally able to match this to Boris Vallejo's piece Nubian Warrior (1978)
