One thing we factor into our snow forecasts are "snow ratios". Warmer temps often correspond to wetter, heavier snow to shovel... but in Saturday's case, temps around 18-20° will lead to very powdery flakes in Ohio, or a 20:1 snow ratio. Falling rain, warming temps and whipping winds by sunrise in Toledo. 40 mph gusts (20-25 mph sustained) from the southwest will eventually shift from the northwest as the front arrives around midday.
