When describing how much snow has fallen, there are a lot of subjective terms thrown around. But one in particular has a specific definition. First Alert Meteorologist Derek Witt explains in this “Weather Word of the Week.”

*EARLY FRIDAY SNOW FORECAST* After looking at over 150 computer simulations, the early FIRST ALERT forecast for Friday is calling for around 1-2" of snow. This clipper system is expected to bring snow for the Friday morning commute, chance of snow diminishing in the afternoon.
