Discovered the Obsidian note-taking software, seems to work in capturing my fragmented thinking for nailing down thoughts for my essays. Went on YouTube for guides and... some users (all men) have this weird "second brain" concept of capturing EVERYTHING. It's OK to let some thoughts go, guys.

After 2 weeks, this is my most-watched (and liked) essay. Not a massive achievement, but encouraging. Latest comment described it as "peak". Peak what is unknown at this time, but I'm told it's a compliment.

Today in "You're probably overthinking it": Mapping connections from the final "Universal Soldier" movie to Conrad's "Heart of Darkness"; then realizing "Day of Reckoning" *might* have also been influenced by TS Eliot's "The Hollow Men". But yeah, that's what the next essay's (partially) about.

Done! In less than 2 hours, too. I'm going end up getting the Tumbler as well, I can feel it.

Went to book a train ticket, "no routes available". Industrial action today AND tomorrow. So I guess I won't be seeing the new "Evil Dead" in a nice air-conditioned cinema.

I've got a day off tomorrow, which is also payday. Pretty much the only thing keeping me going RN. Well, that and the Farage / Binface situation. The jokes are practically writing themselves in YouTube comments.
