Christmas Day 2020 was the last day my Dad breathed his last breath without assistance, spending the last weeks of his life on a ventilator. No one tells you how holiday joy and cheer dies with the loss of a loved one. It's been 5 years and I still don't know how to get it back. #grief #loss

Earlier this week, I found an abandoned baby possum outside my house and was able to care for him throughout the day until I could get him to a wildlife rehabilitation center in my area. He was so cute and everyone should see his adorable little face. I miss him 😭

Don’t just say DEI as if it’s a bad word. Spell it out. Say diversity, which is the lifeblood of American society & culture & innovation. Say equity, which a just society should pursue. Say inclusion, because decent people believe in increasing belonging, not isolating people who are different.

This book is pure emotional devastation and it is so good.
