There are times I just can't remember the name of a band. But I do remember the name of the lead singer. And if that fails, I remember the very first line of one of their songs. Never their most popular songs tho, but something rather obscure from their early days. My brain is the weirdest 😂🧠

Just outside my town there's a place called Gelded Horse Mountain. Except that there's no mountain. And no horses. And if there ever has been horses, there's no record of unpleasantness done to them. So I don't know why it's named like that. It's a nice place tho. We used to go skiing there.

My favorite tv show scene of all time is the finale of Andre Folks Penge; a rich guy had bragged how he owns a record that no person alive has ever listened, and how he controls if anyone ever hears the song or not. Camera pulls back and we watch thru a window as the cleaning staff comes in...

I'm still recommending it but... Names of shows are translated, and I can completely understand that. In original Swedish it's Hundarna (The Hounds) and, watching it in Finland, I see Vahtikoirat (Watch Dogs). But in English, it is called Burden of Justice. Where on Earth did that come from?? 🤔📺

Here in Finland we have a dish called "Summer Soup". Basically some veg - peas, carrots, green beans, cauliflower, etc - boiled in milk and fat. You may think it sounds good. It's not. It is the most revolting thing in the history of gastronomy and I can never understand how anyone can eat it 🤮

Time travel keeps coming up in my mind. If I did, and I changed something, how would I know to change it? The inevitability of time, there's something crushing and also something comforting about it. On one hand there's nothing I could do... But also on the other hand, there's nothing I could do.

It's -24c with blasting winds, and I had to go to the shops! 😨 It was amazingly nice though. My new parka kept me so warm that I even sweated a little bit... It only cost me 50 euros! A good coat and good value for my money. Excellent for a lovely evening stroll in the South Pole 😄
