Amid the barrage of actions directly against research to support students with disabilities, it feels more important than ever to celebrate the work we can do right now. Yesterday we submitted a manuscript, and today we got an acceptance. I'm celebrating with pho and sledding.

This was a big part of my brain at the end of grad school: what if I get a faculty job and never have a research idea again? I was amazed when I realized that the limitations section of my dissertation was a chest freezer of research ideas for future Esther to explore.

I just submitted a proposal that took so much time and energy. I really hope I get selected. I don’t know how I would handle a rejection after investing so much time!!!!😭😭🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
