It's the anniversary of Nova (Kichigai/HalcyonMoth)'s death today and every year I just think about how lucky I was to have my favorite artist be my best friend. The very first time I seen her NiGHTS artwork online way back in the late 90's I was SO DAMN JEALOUS 😆Instant art-crush and inspiration!

Working on "The Door" again tonight :D I love writing Balan's character, he's very much an amalgam of some of my favorite tropes. Elegant and whimsical and princely and clownish, all at the same time. Shit, he really is NiGHTS all over again in more than a few ways XD
