I want to introduce a new piece of Nintendo memorabilia in my collection. This is a pre-WW2 Nintendo piece that came from a company HQ, likely the Marufukuro location. I bought it at auction on Mercari. I didn't quite know what it was when I bought it, except that it was pre-War.

I just replaced the Mickey Mouse dangler with an alternative version, from the same period (early 1960s), advertising Nintendo Disney playing cards. This one includes a card that says DISNEY (ディズニー) in bold katakana, like the POPEYE (ポパイ) one.

So, used the Nintendo 64 DD keyboard fetches 173,800 yen... Then new in sealed box will fetch 280,000 yen Makes total sense, I guess

That's a double-digit price, Nintendo 64DD in retail box, sold for 445,444円 (around 3K US$).

That's pretty steep, 131,000円 for a Game Boy pocket (with a burned in screen) and a deck of playing cards...

Anyone who has said something along the lines of "the Famicom Disk System was Japan-only" is technically wrong due to the fact that it actually saw a release outside of Japan sometime in the early 1990s in Hong Kong where it was officially distributed as the Hong Kong Version.
