The first one hasn’t even been shot yet- Hell, it’s still being cast- but reaction to the screenplay has led to talks about a possible sequel already. Gotta say, I love this title, and this poster. Just hope everyone likes this right load of Bastards as much as we do.

I saw a UFO over Bakewell, Derbyshire last night. No joke. My mate and I both watched this strange bright object for about 2 minutes as it crossed dark fields. It was silent and moved strangely. It wasn’t a plane or a drone, I believe, and far too low to be a Satellite. Been waiting my whole life.

Some lovely (official) photos from our time at the Sykehouse Film Festival the other week where LAURA LIVING BACKWARDS was honoured with wins and honourable mentions. It was a lovely way to end its festival run and to see Laura herself Sarah Feltham be awarded for her brilliant performance.

Just found a box containing, among other pieces of writing, five short film scripts I’d forgotten I’d written.

The connection between Oasis and Sabbath are that they are both proper working class bands that came from nowhere and changed everything. And I love them both.

Apropos of nothing, I’ve always absolutely loved this poster. And the film. But then, it is Sam Raimi, so of course I love it.

Done. 2,430 words. A lot less than last month’s story, but this one was quite emotional. Took me a bit by surprise. It’s still called ‘Kent State’. Somewhere I visited once and the place where the 60s well and truly ended.

Started June’s short story. 800 words in. Currently called ‘Kent State’. This one’s a bit different to the others I’ve written so far this year, but we’ll see as I don’t really know where it’s going. I want it to be a lot shorter than last month’s story. #ayearofshortstories

I think one of the truly sad tragedies if this initial AI era are those who have bought into "prompt writing" as a marketable skill, like that won't be the very next thing AI creators shore up. I hate to be the guy tapping the sign again, but you are not USING AI, you are TRAINING it to replace you.
